Winemaking: From a vineyard, nicknamed Pukkaria by the local farmers, in Contrada Feudo di Mezzo, on the North slopes of the volcano, near Passopisciaro.  Alberello vines were planted over 60 years ago in dark ash and volcanic sand soil. Fermented and matured for 1 year in tonneaux, new and second passage.
