Located in the verdant Valdiba’ hills of the Dogliani province, an ideal land to grow Dolcetto. Osvaldo Barberis tends 7 hectares of vines, 4 of them dedicated to Dolcetto. In 1999 he decided to start bottling his own wines after having sold grapes to neighboring cellars for several years.
The vines are on average 30 years old, some as old as 70, planted at high density, in the Guyot system. Certified organic since 1999, he doesn’t use any product in the vineyard nor in the cellar and the wines are bottled without filtration and minimal added sulfites. 25,000 bottles produced annually.
