Corrado De Angelis runs this small estate located in the northern part of Abruzzo, near the town of Controguerra, province of Teramo.

The farm has 8 hectares of vineyards, planted in spurred cordon system, at a density of 5000 vines per hectare, all south and south-west exposure, 250 meters above sea level. The winery is certified organic and is in the process of converting to biodynamic farming methods.

Corrado favors a slightly early harvest in order to enhance the aromatic qualities of theTrebbiano grapes and to guarantee freshness and a vibrant acidity backbone to the Montepulciano grape.

The wines all undergo spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and, with the exception of a couple of thousand bottles of Riserva which ages for 2 years in oak, most of the wines produced here only mature in stainless steel. The wines of De Angelis Corvi are deep and robust, yet they are bright and very pure.

The total yearly production is around 35.000 bottles.
